Patient Safety & Sterilization
At Lifetime Dental, your safety is our utmost concern. To safeguard both our patients and our team, our staff adheres to rigorous safety measures, including wearing masks, gloves, glasses, and hospital scrub uniforms. We strictly follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) protocols. All instruments undergo meticulous cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization, as outlined by the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control. Whenever feasible, single-use disposable items are utilized to ensure your child's health and well-being. Our handpieces are sterilized using autoclave (hot steam) sterilization units. After each patient, treatment room surfaces are meticulously cleaned and disinfected.
Elevated Sterilization Standards:
Your peace of mind is of paramount importance during every visit to our practice. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities as we attend to your oral health. We undertake every necessary precaution to provide a clean and inviting environment.
Our sterilization procedures meet or surpass the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control. Each handpiece and instrument is heat-sterilized after every use. We consistently employ disposable gloves, bibs, masks, eye protection, and barrier covers. Equipment is meticulously cleaned and maintained to ensure optimal comfort and outcomes during and post-treatment. The safety of our patients is our foremost commitment, and we strive to meet the highest standards across all aspects of our practice.
Enhanced Water Quality:
We recognize your concerns regarding water quality and the imperative of preserving the health of you and your family. Thus, during our dental procedures, we employ filtered water lines. This practice ensures the elimination of any substances that might jeopardize our patients' well-being. Your safety, health, and dental care remain our core priorities. This initiative is an extension of our dedication to your well-being.
